Burn Best Practices
Let's Get Lit (Responsibly)
I hope you're enjoying your candle and the soft flicker of it's flame. I've added some tips below to prolong enjoyment and increase safety.1. Trim the Wick: It's best to trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn to prevent soot and ensure a clean, even flame. Alternatively you can remove the black part of the wick by pinching it between your thumb and index finger. Never leave and burnt pieces in the wax pool.
2. Choose the Right Spot: Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, kids, and flammable objects.

3. First Burn Matters: Let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the container during the first burn to prevent tunneling (sinking into the middle of the candle).
4. Monitor Burn Times: It's best to enjoy the candle up to 4 hours at a time in order to maintain the candle’s quality and minimize fire hazard due to a hot container.
5. Avoid Overheating: Please do not burn a candle when only ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom to avoid overheating the container.
After Burning
6. Extinguish Safely: It's best to use snuffer or gently blow out the flame instead of blowing forcefully. A gentle blow with help prevent wax splatter.
7. Keep It Clean: If you notice soot or wick debris please remove them safely (once the flame is out and the wax cooled).
Additional Tips
8. Candle Storage: Store candles in a cool, dry place to preserve their scent and prevent warping.
9. Reuse the Container: The beautiful reusable container has been chosen on purpose. The container can be used after the candle is finished— it's perfect for small planters, storage, or décor. (please don't put food items in it :-)
10. Safety First: Never leave a candle unattended and always keep it out of reach of children, pets and those considered vulnerable.
